The Information Technology Solutions Center at the School of Information Technology combines the expertise of faculty and students to develop IT solutions for clients inside and outside the University. The ITSC has worked on more than 40 projects totaling over $800K since its inception in March 2012. The center is located in Commons Edge North and is directed by Dr. Hazem Said (Hazem.Said@uc.edu). Current and Past clients include Great American Insurance Group, State of Ohio Department of Youth Services, UC Corrections Institute, among other private, public and research entities. A sample product is the ConnectedAField ecosystem consisting of mobile applications on both the iOS and Android platforms, an Application Programming Interface running on an infrastructure of three servers hosted by Amazon Web Services, an Owner Dashboard providing users' analytics and management as well as platform for adding and managing ads.

Chris M. Collins managers the UCSIM | Center for Simulations & Virtual Environments Research at the University of Cincinnati and serves as the Center’s technical lead. Her work focuses on the use of immersive technologies and virtual environments for scientific collaboration, academic research, and in higher education, and she also oversees grant proposal development and pre- and post-award management for the UCIT division of Innovation & Partnerships, Research & Development department. Prior to her current position, Chris has worked in the University of Cincinnati Information Technology (UCIT) department for sixteen years in a variety of roles.

Varsha Diwale has recently joined University of Cincinnati and will be working with the Office of Clinical Research, CCTST and Department of Biomedical Informatics for web development. Currently, she is working on creating Research Commons and improvising UC Health OCR website.
