MyChart Recruitment

UC Health began using MyChart for study recruitment last year. The process involves supplying study inclusion/exclusion criteria that targets potential subjects. When patients log into MyChart, those that meet the study criteria are presented with an invitation to learn more about the study. Studies can include anything from surveys to drug trials. Notifications of new eligible patients are sent to study coordinators as MyChart In-Basket messages and provide contact information for direct follow-up.
