Machine Learning/AI Applications |
Many clinical approaches are increasingly amenable to solutions that invoke artificial intelligence, including challenges in differential diagnostics, treatment recommendation, precision dosing, and patient behavior. CHI can suggest Machine Learning/AI approaches and design solutions that can be implemented in Epic and in clinical or research workflows. |

N3C National COVID Repository |
The National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C) maintains the largest collections of clinical data related to COVID-19 phenotypes and outcomes in the US. Having access to a large, centralized data resource allows research teams to study COVID-19, analyze and publish. The N3C aggregates electronic health record (EHR) data for patients who test positive for COVID-19 and controls who test negative from multiple health systems across the country. Data are translated into a common data model (OMOP) and stored in a central repository called the ‘Enclave’ that is accessible to authorized researchers. |
